Lance was born in Queens New York. Lance was just recently awarded Best Jazz Artist two years in a row by The Hollywood Music Awards on Nov 2009 and Nov 2008. Lance was awarded Producer of the year by the LA Music awards in 2007. In 2003 Lance was a finalist in the worlds fastest drum competition at MI that was filmed for Extreme Sports. Lance’s first Drum Teacher was Jerry Rici the founder of The Long Island Drum Center and has been playing drums since he has been 5 and has studied drums with such drummers as Zoro,Greg Bissonette and Ed Shaughnessy.
